Pathways Childcare is an Early Years service which will provide the highest quality childcare for children in a safe, loving and accepting environment. Each child is supported in developing their potential at their own pace. Self-respect and respect for others is persistently prompted within Pathways Childcare.

OBJECTIVES

We aim to employ friendly, enthusiastic, dependable, mature and professional staff through our rigorous recruitment and selection policy.

We’re an ECCE scheme approved facility

To ensure that the developmental, educational, emotional and social needs of each child are met daily.

We aim to make Pathways Childcare accessible to all members of the community, regardless of race, gender, family status, age, disability, or religious belief.

We operate within the Childcare (Pre-School Service) (No 2) Regulations 2006 and The National Standards for Pre-Schools.

We aim to deliver a quality (care, play and Montessori) curriculum which addresses children's wellbeing, identity and belonging, communication and exploring and thinking, using the principles of Aistear, the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework.

Parents are welcomed at Pathways at all times. We endeavour to share information and communicate with parents directly. We give feedback at the end of each day to ensure that parents are made aware of ongoing developments in policies and procedures.

We also wish to promote a positive atmosphere where children, staff and parents are treated with respect.

Childcare Rooms

Pathways Childcare boasts seven dedicated, custom made rooms. We assign rooms according to a child’s age. Each room is supervised by our fully qualified and highly trained staff, who encourage independence in a friendly stimulating environment.

Crèche

Our crèche service involves caring for children in a safe and nurturing environment. We gently encourage your child’s natural development by creating a stimulating and friendly environment that encourages participation and inclusion.

Montessori

Our Montessori program involves the gentle encouragement of independence and choice. Our teacher introduces a child to an activity and encourages the child to work independently on a task.

After School

Our comprehensive after school programme involves outdoor and indoor activities, a hot meal and a homework club; where children are helped with their homework. Our after school program is available for children aged 5 to 12.

OUR FACILITIES INCLUDE:

We are open from 8am-6pm daily.

Pathways Childcare is open 51 weeks of the year.

We close for a week over Christmas, all Bank Holidays and Good Friday.

We cater for children from 4 months to After school

We offer a full 2 years FREE pre-school session for children qualifying for the ECCE Scheme.
